our musicians
Every tutor on this site is someone we know personally. We've played alongside them, sat next to them in rehearsal, or heard them on a bandstand. Nobody signs up here as a stranger.
They come from LaGuardia High School, the Jazz at Lincoln Center Youth Orchestra, and youth programs across the city — players who are still deep in learning this music themselves, and who remember exactly which parts were hard.
